ArcRx is a digital software subscription (software-as-a-service) for clinics. On payment, access to the software is granted immediately and in full for the chosen period.
Because ArcRx is a software subscription with immediate, full access on activation, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Subscriptions do not renew automatically — no further amount is charged unless you choose to renew.
In fairness, we will refund in two cases:
• Duplicate or mistaken payment — you were charged twice, or charged for a plan you already hold. Full refund.
• Payment taken but access not granted, and we cannot restore your access. Full refund.
You may stop using ArcRx at any time. Since nothing auto-renews, there is nothing to cancel to prevent future charges; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. You may export your clinic's data before the period ends.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Indian consumer protection law.

This policy explains how ArcRx handles data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Your clinic's account data (clinic name, the doctor's and staff's names, logins, subscription and billing details) is handled by us to run your subscription.
Patient data your clinic enters (patient names, contact numbers, diagnoses, prescriptions, bills) belongs to your clinic. The clinic is the Data Fiduciary for its patients; ArcRx acts only as a Data Processor, storing and processing that data on the clinic's instructions to make the software work. We do not use patient data for any purpose of our own, and we never sell, rent or share it.
Clinic and owner name, email, mobile number, GSTIN (if provided), subscription and payment records. Payment is processed by Razorpay — we never receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Supabase — secure database & storage (region: [to be confirmed]).
• Netlify — hosts the app's pages.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
We use no advertising or third-party tracking.
Patient data is stored in your clinic's own secured database space, readable by your clinic's logins. The app works offline on the device and syncs when the connection returns. Your clinic controls its backups and can export its data at any time.
Clinic account and tax records are kept as long as the law requires. Patient data is retained while your subscription is active; on closure, your clinic may export it, after which it is deleted per our data-retention schedule, except where law requires otherwise.
Under the DPDP Act 2023 your clinic may request a copy of its account data, correction, or deletion, and may withdraw consent, by writing to privacy@whitecoatlibrary.in. For patient data, requests from patients are handled by the clinic as the Data Fiduciary; we assist the clinic as its processor. If unsatisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting data occurs, we will notify the affected clinic(s) and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

By using ArcRx (the "Software") you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form part of them.
ArcRx is licensed to registered clinics and the qualified practitioners and staff they authorise. It is a tool for clinic administration; clinical responsibility for every patient rests entirely with the treating clinician.
ArcRx is sold as a subscription: ₹1,500 per month or ₹15,000 per year, plus applicable GST. Access begins on payment and runs for the period paid. Subscriptions do not renew automatically. A GST tax invoice is issued for every payment.
Patient records and clinic data entered into ArcRx belong to your clinic. We act only as a processor (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for entering data lawfully and for obtaining any patient consents your practice requires.
Your subscription is a non-transferable licence for your clinic's own use. You may not resell, sublicense or reverse-engineer the Software, or share logins outside your authorised staff. Prescription templates contain medicine names and must be reviewed and approved by a doctor at your clinic before use.
We aim to keep ArcRx available and working, and it is built to run offline, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve, change or withdraw features, and may change prices for future purchases — a price change never affects a subscription already paid for.
To the extent permitted by law, and except for liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability in connection with the Software is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for clinical decisions, which rest with the treating clinician. Nothing excludes liability for fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
We may update these Terms; the current version is always published here with its effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction at the courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, without removing any right you have under consumer protection law.
